The Athens Science Festival was organised between 30 April and 4 May 2014 at the “Technopolis”, and its core idea was “Science in our Everyday Life”.

The festival was organised by the “Science Communication - SciCo” educational organisation and the British Council, in collaboration with the Onassis Scholars' Association, the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the National Science Foundation, the “Demokritos” National Centre for Scientific Research, the National Observatory of Athens, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and other major educational and research institutions.

The festival included, among other things: interactive exhibitions, educational programmes, scientific theatre performances, scientific experiments, documentaries, impressive science shows and many other events.
